In 2018, Kenneth Mitchell was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a progressive neurodegenerative disease. Susan has been an unwavering pillar of strength throughout his journey. However, it is known that she married fellow actor Kenneth Mitchell in 2006. Kenneth, known for his roles in “Star Trek: Discovery” and “Captain Marvel,” sadly passed away in 2024 after battling ALS. The couple had two children together: Lilah (16 years old) and Kallum (11 years old)
