Group Wanted for Gang Assault & Robbery of Teenage Girls in Fordham Heights

The New York Police Department (NYPD) has released photos of two teenage girls believed to have been involved in a gang-related assault and robbery in the Fordham Heights area.

According to police, the incident occurred on Friday, January 26, at approximately 7:05 pm inside a business on the 1600 block of East Fordham road. According to police, two female victims, one 15 years old and the other 17 years old, got into a verbal altercation with a crowd of people. The businesses on this block are listed below.

The argument turned physical and the group, acting in unison, beat and kicked the two victims multiple times, resulting in their injuries and taking both victims’ possessions. The suspects then fled eastbound Fordham Road towards Grand Concourse on foot.

The 15-year old victim suffered facial and bodily injuries and was transported by EMS to St Barnabas Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. The 17-year old victim did not report any physical injuries.
